Contoh:

Artinya:

-Kedua Muh. Syihab dan Muh. Hasan basri adalah anggota dari New Generation Club.

-Elina suka Baik Ice Cream Dan teh.

-Kedua kakak saya dan adik saya bisa bermain gitar.

B.   Not only…but also…

Contoh:

-Not only my sister but also my brother is in Makassar.

             Not only my sister but also my brothers are in Makassar.

-She likes not only swimming but also climbing

-He is not only handsome but also smart.

Artinya:

-Tidak hanya kakak saya, tetapi juga saudara saya di Makassar.
 Tidak hanya kakak saya, tetapi juga saudara-saudara saya di Makassar.

-Dia suka tidak hanya berenang, tetapi juga mendaki.

-Dia tidak hanya tampan tapi juga pintar.

C.    Either…or…

Contoh:

-Either my sister or my brother is in Makassar.

             Either my sister or my brothers are in Makssar.

            -Either Forza or Elfa is a best designer.

-Either the students or the teacher is going to go to the museum tomorrow.

Artinya:

-Entah adik saya atau kakak saya di Makassar.
             Entah adik saya atau saudara saya di Makssar.

-Entah Forza atau Elfa adalah desainer terbaik.

-Entah siswa atau guru akan pergi ke museum besok.

  

D.   Neither…nor…

Contoh:

-Neither my sister nor my brother is in Makassar.

             Neither my sister nor my brothers are in Makssar.

-Neither Rafa nor Rey is handsome. 
 -Neither joh, sussie nor I have a good studying habit.

Artinya:

-Baik adikku maupun saudara saya di Makassar.
             Baik adikku maupun saudara-saudara saya di Makssar.

-Baik Rafa maupun Rey tampan.

-Baik joh, Sussie maupun saya memiliki kebiasaan belajar yang baik.
